At CARE, our lifts come with an array of options and weight lifting capacities and can be installed for either indoor or outdoor use. Vertical wheelchair lifts are used to access the home where a porch or stoop is present and a wheelchair ramp is not feasible due to space constraints. Inclined wheelchair lifts are used on stairways for floor to floor access for the wheelchair bound, allowing the freedom to once again use the entire home. All units come with multiple safety features like an emergency stop button, a bottom safety pan that stops the lift instantly if something is beneath it, constant push control switches, and an upper landing gate that locks the instant the lift moves below the level of the upper deck. Units also come with battery backup systems so you can continue to use the lift in the case of a power outage.
